Pain does that. It makes you cautious, then it makes you fearful, then it quietly shrinks what you’re willing to do until lifting the grandkids, kneeling in the garden or trusting your own back feels like a risk not worth taking.

Our job is to release the handbrake.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your first appointment

A thorough assessment where we work out what’s actually going on, explain it in plain English, and build a plan with you.

You’ll leave your first session understanding your body better than when you arrived, with something practical to do about the problem you’re experiencing.

Step 1

Assess

We start by understanding you — your history, your lifestyle, and a full assessment of the problem and everything around it. You’ll leave with a clear diagnosis in plain English and a plan we’ve built together.

Step 2

Settle the pain

Hands-on treatment, taping and targeted exercise to bring your symptoms down — alongside the knowledge to manage things yourself. Getting comfortable is the start, not the goal.

Step 3

Move well

With the pain settled, we look at how you actually move — the patterns that caused the problem, or that could bring it back. This is the part that stops it happening again.

Step 4

Move on

You’ll get an exercise programme built around you, with full video guidance. Then we point you at what comes next — reformer, matwork, strength or the pool. Because we want you not to need physio.

“We want you not to need physio.”

Our goal isn’t endless treatment – it’s teaching you how to move, how to get stronger, and how to stop being fearful of your own body. That’s why nearly every physio plan points somewhere: into a condition-led course, into the pool, into a reformer or strength class. Treatment is the start of the journey, not the destination.
